I got me a 1970 VG valient Coupe last night for $1000aust. For those who dont know what a Aussie VG is, it a Australian Dodge Dart. I always liked the lines and whats more I really have a big hang up for the late 60's Dart funny cars.

So heres the plan. The interiour is mint so I'll be pulling this out and restoring the body then putting it all back in. The main rust is in the bottom of the B pillars, sills and around the bottom of the back window. As resto work is a large part of how I make a buck this is not such a big deal to me.

Once she's back to new I'm dead set on turing it into a Late 60's looking Super stock funny car but for the street. So if you have any good pictures of Darts or VG's set up this way then lets see them.

The parts I'm now looking for are a 15x10 set of rear mags say 5 slots or somthing of that period and I was thinking about some super b scoops as well. But if you have any recomendations then please share them.

Paint will be old school for sure so here is some pics to get it started.

So pumped to get this project going.

The VG Coupe not mine but but it looks the same.

Here is the Busherwacker. This was Brad Anderson's old AA/GS, bought by Keith Bush, then sold to Bob Dell. It had early Blown hemis in it , 331,354 and 392
