Has anyone ever tried putting '73 up ford pickup spindles on an early I-beam? Maybe Ranger? seems like a little machine work would give disc's and cheap spindles........... Anyone know the kinpin diameters on these 3 applications?

The Kingpins are supposed to be on a different angle, so you would get a weird camber setting.
BUT...I remember a 32 Roadster getting Econoline spindles in some mag tech article. I think it was a specially prepared axle or something. It was awhile back so I'm fuzzy on the details.

When did Ford go to Ball jointed spindles on the twin I beam anyway? Late 70's early 80's ???

You would think you could just BUY an axle set up to take those easily available spindles wouldn't you?
I think someone dropped the ball on that one! Sure would save a load of searching.
