we have a 57 bird and while out at a diner it started pouring rain we had both tops off .. So there was little we could do ,,,, at least 20 people rushed around to find us about our "car's getting wet!" we just thanked them..

once there was a car show at the local college, I watched groups of students get in or hang or cars for pics....

when ever I drive my POS 54 Chevy to work people are walking out to it all day long, they only look inside then walk away

I've entered the same POS 54 in a couple car shows and cant believe how many people will walk around it banging there hands on the sheet metal, like there are checking for body filler or something

 

Once I kicked a 5 year old in the stomach for leaning on my car.

I want to get one of those "pouting punks" and put its head under my front tire at the next show. That's the most obnoxious thing since the fake drive in food hanging from the window.

A female friend of mine knocked on a real shelby cobra(427?) once at bobs big boy to see if it was fiberglass or not. Shoulda seen the owner freak out!!! Hell if I know what got into her.

I was taught the hands behind your back when you're near a car you don't own thing. I still do it, you don't go touching someone elses stuff, *especially* at a car show.

I've also seen people old enough to know better touch tapestries and fancy carpets displayed at museums. It takes all kinds.

Hell I had a city of Marana cop pull me over in my 39 and put his muddy foot on my running board...he got pissed when I told him to get his foot off my car...yeah I got the damn ticket

Whats worse is when your driving down the road and people in the on-coming lane are looking at your ride and nearly hit you!!!! Happens all the time...my '55 is my daily driver and this happens at least once per week!! Lot of finger action....~E
