Got the engine sold, it's getting a 21 stud and top loader.

  5. Well that answers my wheelie question.
Maybe some wheelie bars will be necessary. ;)

  8. We called them "Skeeters" when I was a kid. In fact, my roadster's cowl came from one found at a South Georgia sawmill.

    All steel Hooterville body.

  10. That looks to be a Worthington tractor. They were built from Ford parts. The first ones were built in 1933 and they were continued into the late '30's.

It is a Worthington B tractor they were made '33-'39 there were also Model T & A models. The B used a '32 commercial grille and Model b engine, '33-'34 front axle, 4 spd. trans. with a gear reduction before the rear axle, 1st gear really crawled and 4th gear you could do around 25 mph. They were mostly used to pull gang mowers on golf courses. I've always wanted to hot rod one but the previous ones I owned were too original and complete to mess with, this one is just rough enough to not feel bad about having a little fun with it.

The demo begins, tons of brackets and stuff to remove used a can of pb blaster already. Not much to these once you get them stripped down. worty4 001 (640x480).jpg worty4 002 (640x480).jpg worty4 003 (640x480).jpg worty4 004 (640x480).jpg

Mocking up the 21 stud and chopped the firewall, got the gauges roughed in. Fan is going to be a problem along with the driveshaft. worthy 4 008 (640x480).jpg worthy 4 013 (640x480).jpg
