I too was thinking they looked like shrunk down jack stands! When I seen them, It made me THINK TO MYSELF, hmmmm, what a great idea, to have them designed like something (jack stand) that we already know is capable of supporting a heavy load. Thats why I though they might be pre-fab. Seems a good use of tested material/idea from jack stand engineers. Even if the idea was not taken for a jack stand. They look very professional indeed.

Pete: As I told you earlier in the post, the car speaks volumes. I just can't put a finger on one thing, it's several, the whole package. As you have heard, many more pictures are a must (please?). Again, Excellant creativity.
it sucks, like a monkey through twenty feet of garden hose. and that's good 'would look awsome running flat out on a dry lake somewhere, but the roads around here might slow you down a little. got skid plates and casters under there? Paul
