Ditto, I like the mounts as well. If the rest of the rod has the same quality you won't have any trouble on a reliability run. Good job..

No I won’t be going to Cali this year. I sold the coupe last September and used the money to go to the CHRR. Bought a 27-roadster body some other stuff and a VW for Anita
    .
When I got back I dropped a big block in to my 50 so I could tow the modified, then we bought a house that needs everything, no heating hot water or power. Also I need to build a new shop, my son is now 20 months old and also takes up a lot of time, so Iv taken a year out to do the house and family thing. I still drive the 32 as much as possible and some how Iv managed to collect several other projects.
If funds allow I hope to make it to Paso or the reunion next year.

How you doing? you planning on coming back to the lovely Walthomstowe ?.

    Cheers Pete

  13. Pete...is this the same car now ?

Eva and I have been talking about making it over next year as its been a few years to long since we were over. Congrats on the house and as the owner of an old house (old for our area that is 1923) I can tell you your work will never end!!!
Hope to see you next year.

Looks good, still has the look, and now, you can set in it without your head out the roof! Gonna put fabric on it, to protect you from the liquid UK sunshine?

Dale, I think it kooks better for the increased altitude!
I had a sit in your Coupe, when Chris Taylor owned it.I had to get in through the roof.Am I right in thinkin' that it was never on the road before?
I will look forward to seeing out 'n' about this year!

    Nick.

Thanks for the replies guys, Yeah chris taylor used to own it a couple of owners before me, As far as i know its never been on the road, As for the paint its a mix of Zinc rich grey primer/ Zinc rich red primer and black gloss paint:D:D a funny colour i know! but i had to build this on a serious budget.
We had to unchannel it 3 inches and raised the windscreen bar 1 1/2" just to be able to see,

Yeah im planning to make some sort of old army canvas removable roof! need something to keep the soddin rain out!

As i said its my first build, so needless to say ive learnt alot
