Seems like at almost every car show I hear someone saying Kustoms are dead. I disagree, I believe they are as popular as ever. The word “Kustom” like other vehicle tags (Hot Rod, Street Rod and Rat Rod) have been misused. The word “Kustom” has become confusing to the general public because of the assumed experts from automotive publications, internet and television. This has been going on for years and we would like to do something to clarify what is a kustom. We wanted to host a show that would celebrate the American kustom and hopefully help define what is a kustom. Pre-entry fee $20, the day of the show is $25 Host hotel is the Fairfield Inn Bartlesville, OK. For the group discount you will need to call them direct at (918)331-2100 Royboy shot this video at our first show. Kustoms even look kool in the rain.. Lol! I need to get a room booked I suppose. But, I always wait until the late minute for that sort of thing.
Loaded and ready to head out in the morning, tagging along with @1stGrumpy. Hopefully the Chevy will behave for the whole trip and back, which, if it does, will be the first time since the new motor went in. LOL See y'all there!
Wish I could make it...but a broken leg, the virus, and way too much going on this month has me sitting this one out. You all have fun and be sure to post pics for those of us that can’t be there.
Since I can't make it this year, someone has to have twice the fun to make up for what I'm missing. PLEASE. Post up some awesome pics for all us 'unkool' people.
