I am interested in riveting some sheet metal together on my old chevy truck... I want to use solid, round head rivets, mostly 5/16" in diamater. most of the rivets I want to install will be deep inside the panels and will be too far away from the edge to use a throated tool??? How is this done??? What tools do I need? where can I get them, how much? etc. Obviously I am looking for the low buck way to do this , and am not interested in buying some expensive assed aircraft builders set... Thanks in advance..... LUKESTER

These guys have all the tools, some is available used. http://www.yardstore.com/tools.htm

And if you spring for a good rivit gun,you can use it later to make a pneumatic planishing hammer.
