What kind of foam is everyone using for seats? I need to buy some for the roadster, but I want to buy something that is comfortable for long drives.

How do I keep the pleats from puckering when a door or panel has an inside curve? See below.

What you have there doesn't look too bad. If you have a hair dryer you can spend some time heating everything up and it should pull those wrinkles tight. I prefer a hair dryer over a heat gun with tightening up vinyl fabric. It takes a little longer but is not as aggressive. It's easy to burn the fabric with a heat gun

Resurrected this 1960 Cadillac seat that had a foam blow out. When doing these seats that have springs you have to make sure you replace the burlap that the foam sits on or else the springs will dig into the foam

@HomemadeHardtop57 man another great looking job ! Could you tell me where you sourced those little metal endcap/edgebanding clip deals on the sport coupe ? I have one missing from our 29 Special coupe and need a replacement just like those, with the small screw hole.

Very nice. May I enquire as to the nature of the protective tape/film around the trunk opening as I have need of something when carrying out a similar job. Product names and sources? Also, how sticky is it as I've always been told to not be testing the paint adhesion excessively, just in case!

Online, they call them hidem trim clips. I bought a bunch of them on eBay and believe that there's currently no one making them. You can find them online from time to time. Message me your address and I'll send you one

    Hi Chris
It's called JK paint protection tape. It comes in various widths on a roll and is easy to apply, and removes just as easily as making tape, and leaves no residue. I use it on everything with nice paint. It's not cheap... but certainly less expensive than repainting something
