Brings to mind the old line; June Cleaver to Ward, "Don't you think you were a little hard on the beaver last night?"
I was 26 days old when this episode origianlly aired. I LOVE Leave it to Beaver!! BTW, my favorite character is Larry Mondello.
leave it to beaver was a staple of old shows we would watch after school in the early 70's, of ourse they were only 10 years old or so at the time I rmemeber that sweatshirt episode, and how envious I was about them....
Pranks day: part of special tribute to Tony on METV - Lumpy puts cherry bomb in Eddie's '40 Chevy & Wally's '53 Chevy - Eddie & Wally tied chain to rearend to tree which pulled complete rearend out of Lumpy's car - like with squad car in American Graffiti - they had to repair car
I just watched the one that Lumpy pushed Wally's 36 5 window coupe home with his 40. Wally couldn't get it running and sold the parts off it to get his $50 back.
On edit, "Mike" is said to be the eldest, then Robbie, then Chip We used to watch the show before our minds were fully developed.
