Don't you have a picture of your own car ?

 

It’s difficult to photograph yourself while racing. And pretty dangerous

 

I didn't expect you to take a picture of yourself when you are racing. You didn't ask for pictures of you racing the car. You must have had it parked in the pits at one time or other.

 

My self in my 50s , I did not really care to take pics of any thing until last 8ish yrs. I might have one pic of of me drag racing , just did not see need of .

 

Raced stock cars for 5 years in the 70's and did the NHRA Stock cl*** in Division 5 for 3 years.
Never took a picture of any car. Why would we? We were racers not photographers

 

Track photog Chuck Ely at the Valley took an official picture of my car before the warm-ups one night. Car caught fire in the warm-up. Never let them take a picture again before the races. Bad things always happened...
