Less street, more HOT! 36 Coupe progress

    When I bought my 36 I got lots of comments. Like "it's too shiny for you, Mart!" and d'you know what? I agree!
    Well, am playing with these steel wheels and crossply (bias ply) tyres and I like the look. Much more hotrod than street rod. I also want to tone down the appearance because I want it to look less modified when I apply for my registration.
    Wheels and grille shell will probably be painted silver or cream, then gone over in orange after reg.
    Purple paint on the body will stay for the time being, then the whole car will be painted one colour, yet to be decided.
    I am going to keep the modern running gear, but I junked the ugly abs brake system and replaced it with a simple vacuum servo.

    What engine is in that thing? Cosworth?

    Yeah, it's a Ford 2.9 litre 24 Valve quad cam V6. It's out of a 91 ish (UK) Granada cosworth.
