Many of the "better" cars were later drug out to a separate location for a large auction of pretty much all MEL stuff. This was taken in May 2006. P5080382.jpg

That's a problem alright. Looks like you could stack them two-deep and two-high and aren't making good use of your volumetric efficiency. There are more orphans that need a home!

Funny you say that. About to buy a couple 4 post lifts lol. Also we’ve added 2 more since this photo was taken. 3 are running and almost road worthy. One waiting on motor to get built. 3 waiting for their day under the knife.

None of this come as any surprise to me. MEL's have a way of doing that.

P5080332.jpg I think that first row lined up in the field uncovered this row at the back of the shed.

If you look hard, you can probably spot something that isn't an Edsel.

I used a '58 Thunderbird steering wheel on my '59 Edsel Stranger.

My 59 Edsel Stranger project. I am slowly piecing my '59 into the vision I have as a prototype car that was made then shelved. I will lean on that ol' Master The Wizzard to assist in my vision for Zephyr inspired door buttons. The car is one of less than 400 made with a gold exterior and green interior.
Currently Olive is powered by a 73 390 topped with a Edelbrock intake and 600 CFM carb and backed by a C6 trans.

On the stand is a '67 Mercury 410 that will be between the fenderwells next Summer.

every now and then. Mostly keep. Maybe after a few more they will be for sale. But everything has a price

  18. Keep us informed. If the planets are aligned at the time, it may be a chance to add an Edsel to the arsenal.
