I've been a gearhead as far back as I can remember. Pops had a sweet 63 Riv & Uncle Dave had a 55 Chevy Gasser that were heavy influences on me growing up in Chicago burbs during the late 60s/70s, so I dig cars that combine sweet styling lines with brutal drivelines. I build as much of my cars as I can and respect the guy who would rather do it "wrong" himself than pay someone to do it "right". I used to think something was wrong with me cause I dug primer & avoided billet, & my homebuilts were getting no love from the car show/resto wankers. One day in 03 or 04 I was cruising through Sycamore Il and happened on the Hunnert Car Pileup at Marty & Sons. Best car event ever! Been hitting that every year since, even though my 67 GTO is too modern to put inside the gate. Anyways, I'm always on the lookout for someone who likes to talk old Pontiacs so I hope to hear from you!
Welcome to the HAMB from Colorado! My first car was a 66 Goat. I literally gave that car away many many years ago. Doh! David
