My project for the spring... 1960 Buick LeSabre.
    Unfortunately not everyone appreciates it,
just got a nasty letter from the city for having uninspected cars in the yard. Bastards.

  4. Jim, I told you how much I love that car, just freakin perfect, in my opinion. I've got an old 64 Buick Lesabre moredoor, 33K original but don't have a pic around.

droplord: That was my one of my favorite cars at Houston AutoRama last year. I don't know if it was still yours then, but I really liked it. I was showing a T-bucket on a turntable if that rings any bells. I was impressed with the fact it was in white primer. HOW BALLZY!!!

I liked your car and the 60 impala convertible with the mexican blanket upholstery. It's the class of car, not necessarily the clout of the car.

nice '62-here's mine again. Decided on caddy white diamond on the body, panel teal roof. I've shaved, decked, nosed and filled the sucker and I'm cutting the springs soon. Engine wise, eventually I'll find soem split fentons and an offy intake (235)... [IMG]

Here's my '67. Not really HAMB friendly but I will own this car until I die.

  11. Here's a pic of my '65 Bonneville from 1977. Nosed, decked, dechromed, shaved handles, dual sunken antennas. Red Globale flames on Pearl white w/ way too much Gold Murano.

I wish I still had this car. It had power everything. A helluva cruiser.

Django! I love your SS-396, it's what inspired me to put small caps and body-color wheels on my Camaro.

350/327, 4-speed "Hurst Edition" '68 - also not HAMB friendly, also a keeper.

Also not HAMB freindly. My first car. Was originally gold before I wrecked it when I was 17. [IMG] Took my drivers test in it in Alaska, snow on the ground and all.

I think Django's car could kick the Batmobile's ass.

I guess I should take a picture of my car, maybe.

Never could figure out WHY the first thing a kustom car owner does after parking is open the damned hood...that's just wrong. Keep it closed so the lines of the car are not broken!!!

If the engine is not clean, nor the engine compartment painted nicely to match the body...I'd prefer not to see oil soaked valve covers, manifold, ugly headers and blak inner fenders...
