    One of my first cars in HS was a '61 BelAir ragtop. $60 rust free, needed a top, 348 tripower and the motor was blown. Put in a 283 while locating a 409. Finally found one and put it in....the exhaust comes real close to the rear of the front wheel wells, great place to weld in dumps. Man that thing would bark and spit fire. Sold it in '69 for $250

    umm.. anyone wanna buy my 62' so I can buy a 61' ??
    No but seriously when I was looking for an impala 61 was at the top of my list.. couldnt find one in good shape for decent $$ so went with the 62'.. ok so someone post a pic of BIG WORMS 61 vert... "you playin' with my emotions!"

    I really dislike the oversized rims. I know I'm a minority in most cases on that score, but 18s and 20s just seem to disrespect the kool factor.
