'54 Ford Pick-Up I've been messing with. Was so rusty I think most people wouldn't have even touched it. I even considered parting it out at one point. Was used as a parts truck, then some guy had it to put on a bronco frame, then I bought it and got the frame for my '37 Chevy. Kinked the roof lifting the cab off and just made it a convertible. Sat for several months until maybe 2 or 3 weeks ago when it finnaly was mated to this S-10 Chassis. Has the S-10 fire wall and floor pan, fit "perfect" enough, although I wouldn't reccomend it to anyone unless they have a surplus of sawzall blades. 4.3 V6/Auto. No heater/A/C (its a roadster, right?) Doors open, but I still need to do a little more re-enforcing. Excuse the Trans Am wheels, they were on the S-10 when I got it. Hoping to have It done before school starts back in August.
Here is my wife's truck but I drive it more She helped me build it. We threw away the chevy 350 motor it came with and built a 52 cad motor.
The last truck I had was kind of low, sold it and have regreted that sale. This truck has been "in the family" for over 10 years. The cab has been on 3 different frames. About 7 years ago I needed a 4x4 truck and this just happened to be laying around. For the last 5 years its been my winter ride, plowing snow. This year it needed a new motor. To install the motor, the front clip had to come off. You know how that works, since I'm doing this.... Its back together now, but still looks pretty much the same as it did with these pictures. Gene

chris, i have a question/two for you. (or anybody running a chevy 6) what kind of fuel economy do you get with that motor, and what's the comfortable highway speed? after i get my daily paid off in a year or so i'm thinking of going the truck route for price and practicality reasons, (not to mention i like them). but, i'm really thinking a chevy 6 is a smart option. that mill is fantastic!
