if you guys bring the meat ill supply the bbq, full size, or maybe you prefer to use ol' trusty? my mouth is waterin.
Yup......got 'er in the mail today!! Ol' flathead is tired, but still fun. Can't wait. Good luck on the repairs there Tom....got faith in ya!
15 days and all we got to do is finish the trailers, put a clutch in my car, align my axle, adjust the 60's carbs, clean and paint the underside of the hood on the 60, put my door windows in, maybe rattle can paint my car, and alot of misc junk. But we work better under the gun so we should get started in a few days! Look forward to meeting everyone and seeing some familiar faces. Thanks Ryan for putting together what seems to be one of the baddest traditional car events of the year!!
Door windows....???. I hope that isn't required. I have the gl*** in the floor of the shop, but time is a very big issue because I really don't have any due to work. Do we need them to run?
Check MoKan's racing rules at their website. If they don't say anything about door windows, you're in. As long as you have a windshield or goggles, you should be alright.
Maybe next year,of course I've been saying that for the last 3 years. Be there in the 34 again this year, and yes those are Keystones on the 56. Tim
You boys are at the top of my list...of course the Dirty Little Princess is at the VERY tip top! I ran for years without door gl***. It's not a problem there at all.
I ran for years without door gl***. It's not a problem there at all.[/QUOTE] I'm sure glad to hear that. Hard to believe in 2 weeks we'll all be in Missouri kicking ***! Can't wait.
I am not running at the strip but, I put on a new fuel pump, ran the valves, adjusted the floats on the carb, set the time, adjusted fuel pressure, adjusted the coilovers and I am ready to run the **** out of it. All I need now are ear plugs and duct tape
I've not gotten mine yet either but I'm sure Ryan and Marcie are sending them out in batches. No need to worry yet.
Looks like I will be cooking again. Maybe we can swap some fajitas for some cookies. may take you up on that Ryno. No but he sure likes to drive it on 2 wheels for some reason.
The Gold Digger is down right now (blown engine). A new setup is in the machine shop right now. If everything goes as planned, I'll be thrashing hard next week to install the new bullet, and be ready to fire again at the drags.
You are the best thrasher on the planet, plenty of time to have the Anglia ready to rip up the track !
