That's a slick little cruiser that you don't really have to do anything to. Except a good set of seat belts for the rug rats and you and yours.

Wait I looked at their site it is, looks like a good price on it too.

  11. Looks like a very solid original car. Ford guy that I am, I like '53-'54 Chevys, especially '54s, like the '54 grille and taillights better than the '53. Henrietta the '38 Ford pickup and Ozelle the '55 Ford were both impressed, especially Ozelle because she's a 4 door, too. Both send friendly horn honks to you and your '54.

I like that car! I'd get some skirts and some full wheelcovers, maybe a little lower in the rear!

  16. A good looking car. Interior has an original flavor. What wheel covers are
on it........and are they 14 or 15 inch rims?

I see it's had a small bit of customizing.......

yea they said the previous owner did some work on it (and some bondo) so I have my work cut out for me. It will always be a work in progress. I'm not sure what size rims are on it yet. My only direction at the moment for it is making it a "handsome and proper" hot rod if that makes any sense...I'm gonna go with that and see where it takes me.

Yep... skirts are a must... but it's a beauty! I've got both 2 and 4 doors. I can tell you when you have a car load and your cruising around a 4 door is soooo nice to have.

I like it, 4 doors and all. It'll be a fine driver. No flaming from me, I'm a '54 as well, and have become (almost!) as sedate as a '54 Chebbie 4 door sedan...

I totally agree! It doesn't make sense to me owning a car or bike you don't drive/ride. I just finished building a rigid working mans bike in my garage. I'm going to ride that everywhere.

you know, I don't see many 4 door chopped and dropped cars out there. Is it considered "unkool" to do that to a 4 door? I'm probably going to. 4 DOOR REVOLUTION COMING!

Well it can always be made into a nice 2 door....:)

Looks great. Maybe flake the roof, paint the window surrounds white....so full hubcaps and fender skirts and straigten the antenna...got to have the tunes.

Four doors are great drivers, as long as you buy them cheap and don't pour a lot of work and money into them. Looks like you did it right. I'd love to make that my daily.

right on! I think I am going to refresh the interior/mechanics bag it and paint it. I'm not a huge fan of the skirts but maybe.
