i moved into the area here ten years ago an always drove past a barn that had fall'n....one day i was driving by saw some dudes poking around looked alittle odd.so on my way back there was no one around so i pulled over an went to see what they had been up to!well don't i see a 1938 hudson terraplane coupe with a concrtete wall on it the car was complete an no overly rusty...so as i'm headed back to my car these dudes show up an ask what am do'n well i said i was go'n to ask u the same thing...i couldn't get a straight answer out of them!i l8ter found out from a friend that the old guy that owned the coupe was in an old age home put there by his family againt his will at that!! it seems that these two a-holes stole the hudson from the barn.....what balls some people have...i should have told them i was a family member .it turns out the one guy lived just down the road an was waiting for the day...dirt baggggggggggggggggg
i was out prospecting some chevys like i always do one day with my wife. we were at a storage yard one day and she saw this car in the back with suicide doors and a grill(no hood). ended up being a 36 terraplane and she wanted it. we took it and put it in the yard. later days we were at a nsra show and a guy saw my list of cars and started to talk about all these hudsons he had(like 92 or so) we thought B.S. and decided to go see for ourselves. he was tell the truth. his back yard had a huge history lesson in it. and there in a pile of pieces was our hood(all 4 parts). damn what a day that was. he had all types and one day i am going back and getting a 29 touring sedan that i fell in love with. now one day i will fix up that beautiful car for her.
