Hot Rods Let's have our own 84th anniversary event for the 40 ford...

I have been wanting this car for 15 years or so. I was finally able to purchase it last month. It belonged to a friend of mine's dad since '58. Arnie Beckman sr. and his brother Ronnie had a body shop here in Denver. They painted this car and chromed a few pieces to showcase their skills. It has been off the road in this garage since '65. Unfortunatley the garage roof collapsed in one corner in the 80's and stayed that way for many years. There were blankets piled on the back corner of the car. Much more to the overall story, however, I just wanted to get it out on the 40 thread.

Thanks Fellas! It's in storage until I finish my current project. Cant hardly stand it though. Want to get it on the road.

Something a bit different......1940 Zephyr radio plate in my '40 Ford coupe......pretty much a direct swap.......not going to "restore" it.......nice patina as-is. Got it for my '32 roadster with a '40 dash, but might just keep it on the coupe.....
