One of my favorite HAMB threads in forever and the year is coming to an end... I think we need to have a 76th anniversary thread too.

man, I'd love to see this car in colour. In my minds eye, I see it purple with lavender scallops.

A little change of pace and I hope not off-topic. This is one of my Dad's models from the early 60's...12 wins. There was a real version of this 5 years ago that was at Sport Wheels in Jordan, changed hands a few times, and I think went East somewhere 6-2 Small block if I remember correctly

How about a Deluxe coupe with a 6-deuce Nailhead, pinstriped firewall with gauges.

And this is a full size version he built years later. 40 coupe, channeled, chopped, 48 Ford rear window, fenders raised, homemade grille, all gas-welded, with a big block Chevrolet and 180 degree headers!

This is the original Doug Rice car and inspired my Dads build. I took this picture on a Bonneville Truck with a Hot Rod Mag Collage vinyl wrap.

This car was for sale in the Vancouver BC area maybe 6-7 years ago. A beautiful 39 Deluxe, nice color, 60's syle black and white interior, five spokes, small block, 4 speed....I lust over this car. I think I saw it in some Goodguys coverage in Arizona recently.......

This was a nice little 40 I had a few year back. It had been stored since 71, had a rebuilt flatty. I put a new condenser in it, file the points and it fired right up. My eyes were bigger than my appetite as I had my 34 to finish, and the 40, and really wanted a family cruiser. It had a real light coat of lacquer primer on it that wiped off with some work. 34 and 40 pics 004.jpg I sold it into good hands and here's another shot of it about 6 mos later.

I don't anything about this truck.
