Gene Sonnen has been a '40 guy since before the dawn of time.

 

My '40 stake truck, at the MidAm Nats, 2015.

 

Here's mine with the Black wall radials on it.

 

A local friend Ed Heller's 40 Ford Panel. He's owned it since the 60's.

 

Drove the '40 to breakfast.

 

I posted these on another thread, but I have liked this car for a lot of years. The first two pics are from the nineties, the last one was taken at Ocean Park last year. When you get it right the first time, you don't really have to mess with it much.



HemiDeuce just posted on another thread, This is Carl Tjorhoms car, he is a pretty famous local hot rod guy, had a T-bucket featured in Car Craft in the early sixties, and a T-bird race car as well.

Mo' 40's and mo' 40's and mo' 40's. Man, I love this thread!

 

Holding our own this morning at Cars and Coffee in Portsmouth at Roger's Redliner Diner. Thats a new black Lamborgini and a 2010 Mercedes gullwing. I'll stack up the lines of Henry's '40 to any furrin stuff. And I might add a damn site easier to get in and out of!!

 

WOW ! Now that is a line up of dreams there.

 

For Labor Day, a Japanese '40, stunning color and nice show car wheel treatment, from FB '39/'40 page this morning.

 

'41 PU at the Falcon Owners Club car show today...

 

Felt like some ice cream so I ran all the way up to the Arctic circle to get some.



I ran out for some food at dusk to the local Italian deli. Wife was out of town so I had to fend for myself!

 

Looks like you're living pretty large while the wife is out of town.

 

Yeah, only the best for me!

 

Or over the 1 Mile bridge at the lake?
