No doubt some of you may have seen this coupe for sale on ebay for sometime now. I happened to zoom in on one of the trophies and could read that it was won at the Mid-Atlantic Timing Association's Rodorama show held in Baltimore at the 5th Regiment Armory. I was lucky enough to purchase a souvenir program from that show at an auction, and a picture of what I'm certain is the same coupe was in the program.

 

I went down to a small car show today.

 

I really like those turtlebacks! ^^^ I had one. It's one hot rod I truly regret selling. That maroon color really does it for me also.

I never heard that term used on any 40 Ford… not sure I like it but then I learned something new today…. lol

 

I've always heard the tudor sedans called tutlebacks. Not a derogatory term at all.

 

Just FYI...I think I have three copies of this if anyone ever needs one...
