    I guess this is a '40 Ford ute, not a '39? There seem to be two different grilles used on '40 Fords ... Were the '40 Fords that used this grille called 1940 Specials, or something else? Could this be a '39 with a '40 'Special' front? Excuse my ignorance/uncertainty ... 059.JPG

    ..I'm not completely familiar with the Utes, but it appears to have '40 Standard grill (chromed) and hood and hood side stainless with truck trim on front of hood. ('41?). Just to add to the confusion, it appears that the hood side script is Ford DeLuxe.:confused:
