    I posted this first pic (from Australian Motor Sports magazine) a month ago. The second pic here I had seen before but there was nothing at all to identify it, until I saw the AMS pic. Second pic shows the car competing at Ballarat air field races in January 1947; Ballarat is 70 miles west of Melbourne.     Gawd I love this coupe! When I was a teen in the early 1970's, a neighbor had a '40 Deluxe that looked so much like Marks I thought it might be the same car...(I grew up in Minnesota)

    in the 70’s my car was owned by Hal Greenwood, he lived just outside of Mound in Minnetrista. He was famous for the Midwest federal banking scandal in the 80’s
