    Hello,

My wife and I were driving around the coastal areas looking for a specific house and yard. We saw some that were nice and were surprised at a red custom 1940 Ford pickup truck sitting by a curb in one of the coastal areas. We had some time to go see other homes, so we left to come back around later in the road trip. A quick digital camera shot from the driver’s side was taken and to appease my wife, we drove on to the next area a couple of miles or so away.

Since we are/were a couple of road trippers since 1966 together, she surprised me with a nod to the red 40 Ford Truck. “…It was a nice looking truck and probably would fit perfectly inside of our own garage for our weekly trips…” I guess our red 327 powered 40 Ford Sedan Delivery we owned back in our 20s, still rings true as far as fun on the roads of our old destinations weekly.
