The 1941 sedan delivery hood is the same at the cowl as 1939 deluxe/1940 passenger car whereas the 1940/41 pickup/panel delivery will only bolt to a commercial cowl...

Wow, nice looking coupe old skool!

 

I really like pale yellow hot rods, very fifties.

 

Here's a shot of my ol' car from today. I'd just gotten back from the annual "All Ford Day" show here in Wichita. Yesterday I drove it to the "Geezer Gathering" also in Wichita. I had a blast driving the car around all weekend. Still a lot of work to do but I'm glad I can at least get it out of the neighborhood now. That is with a reasonable amount of confidence it'll make it home!

 

Continue to get some miles on that thing, over the next several months, and then come join us for the SWMO Hot Rod Hundred in April. If you skip that, bring it to the Stray Kat 500. I wanna see it! LOL

 

Lets try one with the white walls! This was taken in front of one of the towers built the during WW2 on the Delaware beaches to look out for German U boats in the Atlantic.

That's not really true. You are always hunting the next cool project or piece for your collection at the "Moriarity Museum"

 

At first I thought Russco's coupe had been subjected to the hot knife at the mid section... Not!

The Reverend Scrub Hansen broke out his custom 40 coupe for a doughnut run...

 

Now that car looks like the 40's of my youth, except that back then the cars were tail draggers instead of forward rake.
But the Desoto bumpers, teardrop skirts and flipper hubcaps are true to the 50's here in GA.

 

Lots of late nights in the past few weeks to get this car ready for the Hot Rod Fall Out

Here's a nice little 40 coupe getting some love. It belongs to a friend of mine. He got it off of Craig's List! It was an 80's street rod that had been sitting for years. He's brought it back from the dead and trying to get it back to more a more traditional ride. I think he's doing a pretty good job of it! He does really nice work.

 

Your friend has kool taste. This is one bad coupe.
