Man am I happy to see Joe Cool has his situation in hand. And as always I am impressed at the display of caring for our H.A.M.B. sisters and brothers and their familias. I hope everyone realizes the power center created here to support us all, spreading the hot rod gospel 24/7/365, can I get an Amen!! Thank you Thank you very much/E.P. ~sololobo~

    Just a thought ,
if their is any money left ,why not send it to Ryan and start a fund for anyother down rodder in the future!

I can send a few bucks as I'm sure others would,
when a problem pops up we could take a vote and send some of the cash along to who ever needed it at the time .

I remember we helped the family that had the house fire a few months back and who can forget Andy Dunn !

    Well just a idea ...

Don't mean to hijack ....back to the regular program...

If you can't still get my donation to joecool directly and/or he really doesn't want to take it, just send it back and I'll put it in one of the Joplin funds. Thanks for the efforts and thoughts anyway, glad he seems to have a handle on it. Even still, it sucks though of course.

You people really know how to make an old man bad feel bad .I'm setting here crying my ass off reading this . stop it ,I am supposed to be mean crotchedy aass hole. stop it.
Ok at the risk of making everyone run around for nothing please take this as a stressed out old guy. I appreciate everything , I am retired ( retarded) something like that . I am very lucky I don't have to worry about eating tomorrow or next week ,I really thank all of you but that part is OK.What the problem is concerns the amount of crap that as car people we accumulate. I have done this since 1962 and I'm beat ,I am giving it up. This just made it quicker. Beeno and I talked as I wanted to sell the garage contents as a whole, time will not let me sell a piece here and there. I know if I store it I will never build again and I will be the old guy down the block with what everyone hates.
My wife and I are buying a fifthwheel and will live in that from now on in various locations.I just have so much stuff ,We have made arrangments to take house stuff to an auction house and will start tomorrow. I have three trailers and will be Ok as far as help. The garage stuff will be stored at a friends barn if it doesn't sell. The cars will be sold cheap or stored. The race collectables I hate to store but may have to.
The problem with the water is ( in my opinion) they have kept dam levels very high the past few years as thousands of acres extra under water translate to $$$ of tourist spending. This year the snow in Montana and Dakota has hit them hard. WE have most of the low farm ground covered with water now and they are releasing 72 thousand gallon per second ,yesterday they increased that to 90, next week it will go to 110, the week after that to 135. I have never had water here ,flood insurance was never available because of the area. They told me to plan on 5 to 10 feet at my house.I live in a bank we converted to a house. It is a fantastic place but with several foot of water in it it will have no value. The Corp of Engineers has said they will release increased levels until December,so not to plan on being back in a few weeks.
Now some things will be abandon, If someone wants to come get some of this they can have it, I have a big steel fixture I used as a chassis jig ,it works great ,it is heavy,I have a barrell of Methanol that I won't be able to store at someone elses place, never been opened ,very heavy, rally wheels ,wide five hyd brake stuff, shelving , 4 bulb flouresant lights, tons of stuff first come first serve , there will be more .Call before coming to see if its still there.712-382-1085 Garage pics on on my profile "thanks beaner" if some one wants the whole garage stuff. 5 grand.

Once again ,thanks to everyone ,I didn't expect this at all, thanks from the bottom of my heart ,we will survive, we plan on hitting alot of events with the trailer ,I'll be the guy telling you "nice ratrod" I can not believe this is happening, please for me 'kiss the pretty ones and hug the little ones' that what this is all about ,Thank you again.

Good to hear that you'll be OK. Stay safe, stay dry, and never stop being a crotchety a-hole, it adds character. :)

Joe, thanks for the update. If your fifth wheel is ever in the area and you need a place to hook up, I'm your guy.

I just wanted to let everyone know how grateful my family is to hear of your support for our Dad. Our folks were able to get everything out and are headed to Texas for a road trip! Thanks to all of you for your thoughts, wishes and prayers. He won't have his computer for a few weeks but I am sure he will find a way to keep in touch with all of you! Thanks again!
