  1. Wow,...I started this thread 5 years ago!...haven't done much at all on the 55 I originally posted except remove the police caps from the wheels! (LOL)...plans, plans, plans.
...nice to see this thread back up...Moedog, I like your 55

Thanks, I get a lot of comments on them - they're Cragare Eliminators. They were actually on my '55 Chevy pickup - when I got the BelAir it had polished 17" Torq-Thrust on it... they're on my truck now (temporarily) they do look a little less hideous on the truck, I guess due to the larger wheel arches etc.

Old thread but here are a couple of mine. Old straight axle car saved from a guy who was going to change the frame and un-radius the wheel wells and my AG Bob Falfa clone.

Please Keep the criteria to the HAMB and the OP. That billet/monochromatic number is not it.

  10. Wanted one of these since I was a little kid...

They really look good on the sedan. Think I've seen pics of your truck with them as well. They look similar to a set of wheels my uncle had on his impala back in the '70s. They had aluminum centers with steel rims. Ain't got a clue who made 'em.

Sorry dude but you do know that this is a traditional site. Right? You really shouldn't park this car here man. What you should do is save this car from itself and do a build thread! I would subsrcibe to see this car become traditional again!

I love threads like this. This is where we see the projects in the field and the cars that have been in families for years! Here is a pic of mine!

This is a great picture. I can certainly see myself as the little guy in this photo.

My '55. Bought it from the original owner in 1979.
