I towed quite a few projects home behind my old Beamer.... towed perfectly . The 64 Electra 225 was a tad heavy for it though.

  16. Here's how not to do it . Happened here 2 years ago. Real big & fancy Rolls Royce, was,nt even 5 minutes after leaving the sellers showroom when the whole lot tipped over. The buyer thought he could drive this combination from Netherlands to Switzerland on the freeways :rolleyes:. Rumor is the RangeRover air suspension was at the wrong setting.

How embarrassing with the 35 Chevy, electrical gremlins..[emoji31]
I couldn't drive the 64 Ford away from docks as it wasn't licensed and still had slicks on the rear.
The 46 Olds was off to get the last 4' of exhaust finished.

Is anybody using a hardtail trailer for towing? I'm picking up an old tandem trailer without suspension. The axles are welded straight to the frame. I want to be able to tow my RPU for long distances.

The day we went to Louisville, KY to get our '50 Ford. We backed trailers up against each other and rolled it from one to the other!
