Not sure what is up with the vintage photo retouching on this Carole Landis photo, but check out this Terraplane sedan delivery. Now that has to be insanely RARE today.
not to get off track but can you explain this road,scary as hell ,then throw the passing lines in and well,just gives me goosebumps lookin at it.ill add a few pics to this thread also
1948 Chevy Sedan Delivery Had been sitting in my pole barn for about 6 years. Sold the pole barn and started working on the project about 3 months ago.
Here's mine..48 chevy sedan delivery, that been sitting for about 8 years due to my transplant operations..just recently finished a lota work,drove it and are doing more to it..the delivery has a 307 sbc with trip's,saginaw 4spd trans,nova rear,american autowire wiring,full front&rear chassis engerineering chassis setups..it also has caravan power and reclining seats,pontiac tilt wheel and more in the future...
My '52 Sedan Delivery, 305 SBC Tuned Port Injection, 700 R-4, '78 Trans Am front clip, Camaro diff. Smoothed dash & firewall, tilt wheel, Doug Thorley chromed headers, Flowmaster exhaust,16'' custom offset smoothie chrome reverse rims, body prepped ready for paint, Car I should have kept. Sold it upon my move to Reno in 2006. ...
Here is mt 1936 Simca/Fiat sedan delivery project. Same body size and style as the Topolino's with only a 80" wheelbase.
These are the only pics I can find of my 1957 Pontiac Sedan Delivery, 1 of 682 made in Canada, I bought it from a guy here in Oz about 12yrs ago and sold it about 6-7 yrs ago to a guy in Sydney, there are a few Chev & Ford Sedan Deliverys here in Oz but Pontiac's?..........maybe no more than 1 handful.......lol.......neat car........it confused quite a few guys about its origin........andyd
I have built two Valiant deliveries, for two customers in the last ten years. The second one the owner did the final body and paint work.
I've posted this one on another thread - it's one of my favorites. This is my Dad's chevy taken in 1971 or 72. It was an old laundry truck and he put in the driveline from a totaled corvette. I remember it spinning like crazy with those little rear tires. I am sitting on the hood - my brother and sister on the lights.
My 47. At some point in life hope to be roadworthy shop truck. Was used atop a building for the actual billboard of the seafood restaurant....Smells like fish
Update on my 1940 Plymouth Sedan Delivery. Maybe after all these years it will be on the road next year.
Yeah, now were talkin beautiful one. Deliveries are so damned kool. they just need to be dropped on their belly and a set of wheels n tires. Anything else is optional, just like wagons afterall.
