You mean Skylark had those ??? Which year please, I m in love. They may be too expensive for me, but we re still allowed to dream
Oups .. I didn t see it. Some guys here have so huge signatures that I often stop reading too early Thanks a lot. Phil edit: too expensive for me. . Too bad. I could have a set of Daytona from a friend, but he s a lowrider guy, and I keep on believing 13 " is too small
Wow, this car photographed alone would appear to be a massive car but next to people it looks almost 3/4 size.
I believe Skylark ran those beautiful wires in 53/54. In the 60s was THE lowrider wheel. If you want something cheaper and "similar" to those, Daytons are NOT what you want. Tru Spokes or Star Wires or some type of Cadillac wires are more like it, and they come in 14", or even 15" actually, but 14" is the perfect size wheel for full size cars IMO. Now, can we see more of this? The profile is A-mazing!
working on my 59, its going to be a mild custom with Bellflower styling... currently i have the driver side ready for final primer and the passenger side needs a little metal work and final body work. mechanicals are being freshened up and the chrome is at the platers, hopefuly soon there will be some color (white) on the body. roof and trunk will be done up in custom paint.
This is my Buick...was grandpa's, then dad's, now mine. Did I full frame on restoration...Everything came off and apart except the body off the frame...no room, dam!!
Love those wire wheels! FUN to clean ... HRP. I'd show you a picture of my Buick, but it's still out of town...
Here's one I found. Anyone recognize it and know if it's been finished? I'd love a 1950 Roadmaster Jetback, but it'd be hard narrowing down on what mods I'd what done even just keeping within Buick parts.
couple shots of my 65 wildcat it now has the supremes on it. Would love to find a set of wires for it but not sure what to look for.
Chad Kolman's 777 Award Winning 47 Buick, first shot taken at the 2012 KKOA Leadsled Spectacular. this from this year's KC World of Wheels See you at a show, Travis
DAM! Just went through the whole thing and not one 59 2 door post Buick......Are they that rare? Son-in-law has one and is building it in KC....Very kool looking ride.
This one I think is in Australia: And this one is my favorite custom of all times: The Sledanette from Finland...
Man, there are some amazing Buicks here! Mine are too new to post, 1967 Lesabre and 67 electra 225.....
A co worker buddy just pulled the trigger on this. Can't wait to get in there and drink all his beer.
Just bought a 4 door 64 lesabre. I dont think many people understand how cool the 60's buicks really look slammed out... lucky for me I guess lol
Here are a few of my "H.A.M.B. friendly" Buicks. 1955 Century 1961 Electra 1961 LeSabre 1965 Riviera Gran Sport
