I picked up a couple spinners off ebay a couple weeks back, more for wall hangers but when I stuck em' I kinda liked the look. The one in the pic is a 56' fiesta spinner attached to a later non spinner olds cap. So lets see em' cross bars, bullets, painted ones, ets. Johnny

  4. Not a spinner, but it is a hubcap.

    Re-pro 32 V8 cap adapted to a slot mag.

Guess I could get the smooth version hubcap and knock out a polished aluminum blade for it.... [IMG]

Here's three pics of custom wheel covers I took at the Gettysburg KKOA show last June.

The 4th pic is of a set of early 60's vintage aftermarket (I think) covers I picked up at the same show, for my '55 Buick. The covers have a enameled coat of arms in the center, but I installed bullets over them.

What are some stock hubcaps that are good to use for custom caps? Where is a good place to get parts to dress them up? Trying to get ideas [IMG]. later plmczy

Yeah thats a good question...where can you get crossbars? I know moons got the bullets but do ya gotta buy a set of repro lancer caps and pull the bars off of em'. I'd love to find some lone fiesta spinners minus the caps to build a full set of the caps in the first picture. Johnny

BTW thanks for the pics, there are some real ingenious creations out there!

Those are cool. I found some caps like what socal's first pic shows, sans the bullet. I believe they were mopar. They had a couple of dings in them and there was only three of them. I should have picked them up. I could have found another I think. Thanks for the pic tagman. later plmczy
