Let's see some flatheads!!!

I want to see what you all are running for carburators and air cleaners.

Here's mine in it's current configuration. I put one of those old CalCustom air cleaners on it and it looked way too wimpy, so I made the cleaner cover out of a pan, of course. Since this picture was shot, I cut some slots in the pan and it looks somewhat better.

I'm tryng to make it NOT look so much like a pan!!



I've also since put on a five blade aluminum fan. Got rid of the old propellor!!

I really don't have a good pic of my own but I run Offy heads, Fenton 2x2 w/94's and no aircleaners, just screens over the tops w/hose clamps.

Here's mine. Don't like it at all but have a hood clearance problem. Been lookin' for scoop but they're all too tall. May have to use a fryn' pan. (Would teflon coated let it breathe better ) I don't want to punch my louvered hood.

Spent some time yesterday on the web looking at other styles; just haven't found what I want yet.

 

Mine will look somewhat like this (minus the high rise as it will go in a channeled track nose AV8)

Yup. I have been waiting to be able to build the right car to put them on. This will be my keeper. Just lost my dad, and his last gift to me will be to provide me the means to do it. Wish I still had my pop though.

OMG! You wife/girlfriend/significantother/live-in-roomate allows you to put that stuff on the WHITE CARPET??? Oh, I see, they've never been on a car, hence there is NO grease and/or dirt. Why aren't they dirty.........yet?

I'll play. This is my 8BA. I found some neat little air filters on Red's Header's website.

They're washable foam and they fit right down inside each of the scoops.
