Lets see some little cars

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Kustomkarma, May 14, 2009.

  1. I saw a cool photo of a crosley station wagon. The rear wheel stuck out past the factory fenders. I would like to put a small block in a Morris Minor pick up.

How about a Berkley, a very small British car powered by a 322 c.c. M/C engine, later to run a 700 c.c.Notice the size compared to the people standing close to it - just about even with the knees.

There is one of those Anglia 100E's at a local junk yard that just got pulled in. Anything worth saving off of it? Looks to be very complete except for the grille.

Tiny little thing, looks like a 50 Ford's fetus.

Lowkat, you would have exactly what Mr Shelby had. The Cobra was an AC Ace with a SBF.

No King Midgets? Remember the ads for them in the back of every issue of Popular Mechanics?!

Wow! Lots O posts. I figured this thread would die a quick death, but maybe not. Now the gears in my head are really turning. Anyone want to trade a little car for a Mercury? :D

I have always liked the Fiat Multipla. Hard to tell if it is coming or going.

The Heinkel offers more room for the passenger if you stand with your head out of the sunroof.

Here is a picture of my next project to be started in the next few weeks or so. It will have a VW running gear and possibly with wheele bars. This is a 1958 NSU Prinz

    Thanks

I could just not afford a Sport Prinz that was for sale in my neighbourhood when I was in high school!

I had all kinds of mid-engined dreams, though.

  28. Just to set things straight, the Chinese have NOT bought Indiana. According to Governor Mitch, it's a "long term lease". After that, they have the right of first refusal on a buy option.:D

  30. My project "fits" in here. Not quite as small as some, but small by Kustom/Sled standards.
