I've been a minitrucker for about 15 years, since before I had a liscense, and I have to agree. I started seeing these pointless trucks, bodydropped 8 or 9 inches, and all I could think is WTF. I have a 96 S-10 that has been sitting for a few years simply because I can't stand the mini scene.
wow... thats the second car likethat I've seen... words fail me, I know it's all about what you like... but eho could LIKE that POS?!?
Here's mine. It's not a driver yet and I don't know if it will make it out of my driveway. In the near future it may be a bit taller. It's under 4" at the cowl.
HTML: All that guy sees is a crowd around his car. Look at the the mullet dude with the KISS t-shirt- even he thinks it's tasteless. :) HAHAHA LMFAO, That's funny right there!
Heres my 29, still in the works but body is chan. 3.5in. and the frame has a 4in Z and a 15in. kickup in the rear.
WTF?! I've never seen a Radio Flyer with a roof... Maybe something got screwed up when they were converting metric to inches...what a waste
this rat rod **** is really getting out of hand.... when cuffs get to be higher than the roof of their ratrods I think its time to stop. (I don't know what I like more... the exhaust... or the carb-mounted mirror...)
I need to post some pics of my '29 sedan turned extended pick-up (in progress). Low is good, well most of the time anyway.
OK, I'll be the first to stand up and say "I like it"! (no so much the exhaust) I'd drive that ***** to work!
Something big with full fenders, like a full-bodied car or truck, doesn't look nearly as wrong as an open-wheeled car that "lays rocker." Especially when built within the "context" of being traditonal. Look through the old mags... cars weren't that low. People can do what they want, but that doesn't mean they are doing it right.
