Those are the kinda pics i wanted to see Thanks!!!!

  2. Hadda dig, but I found one on the Lowriders site. Always liked them big****-boats (I had a '66). They always seem to smell of cigarettes inside... Not that that's a bad thing.

Not that it's a lowrider look, but Cragars on the**********walls look great on these cars, the stock wheels and tires were really deep into those wheelwells. At least 8 inches wide and reverse offset.

    What color is it now?

  6. The one in THIS pic looks like a 64 to me, and it is the second incarnation. It's still around and looks great. I personally liked the 1st one better. A little simpler

Ok I'am not really into lowriders to much.
But some of the early stuff is very intersting and a nice crossover between custom cars and lowriders.

Some time ago I found a series of polaroid photo's taken at a lowrider/custom car show in the late 70's early 80's (I guess, if anybody recognize this show, please let me know) Here are some of the more intersting cars at the show.

OG's way back then used to say "it's LIFTED",,meaning its LIFTED,,,,,

the first lowriders used aircraft artillary landing gear pumps,.,,most of them where PESCO's,,,,AKA SCREAMERS!,,cuz the had a SCREAMING sound when you worked them,,,THEN,,,peopel started using pumps from LIFT GATE pumps off of big trucks with hydraulic operated lift gates,,,,,,,anyways,,,LIFTED,,, was the term BACK IN THE DAY,,,,,

my Dad was in the same car club during those times with Jesse,,,THEE IMPERIALS ,i rember him telling the story to me when i was a lil kid baout the 63,,,it was*****ed up,,some*****s took baseball bats and chains to it,,,(i think the circulated story is someone threw a brick at it)

back then,, (late 60's early 70's era)there was alot of "gang bangin"(if you want to call it that)********* between alot of the "famous lowrider" car clubs that are so well known today...

You won't believe how often my buddy and me were driving around in our daily drivers, listening to that song and were kinda thinking we're sitting in an**** draggin and hoppin' Lowrider. He later had a black '64 SS droptop. That Cheech & Chong movie sequence is still a favorite and we watched it a million times.Lifestyle C.C has really cool cars,South Side C.C. as well.Traditional Lowriders and Bombs are super cool.Angel Dust rather is a Custom but cool pic anyway...
