Let's see some of your personnalized license plates

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Frenchy Dehoux, Nov 2, 2011.

  1. I would like to see some of your personnalized license plates you have on your cars or hot rods. Here is the one on my car. Even if you have them on your wall after the car was sold doesn't matter.

    Thanks

  3. Well this should be good. I'll see if I still have mine someplace, but there is no doubt some new ones that we haven't seen yet.

    Found it.

Here's the plate I ran on a corvette. I'm saving them for a '58 Vette which is on the bucket list.

Just curious. Why did you use a "+" instead of a "T"?

VNAMVET was taken. So went with VNAMVE+
Consider "+" a lower case tee. The bottom of the license plate frame hides poppies growing, and the "+" is on a small mound in the ground. Kinda a tribute to the vets who didn't make it back. So I went with it. This is what I told DMV because DMV wants to know why you chose a certain personalized plate before they approve it. Plus, I am a VNAMVET.

  11. I keep a bundle of rounds on my desk. The only round not in it is mine.

I appreciate your remembrance, you're a good man. Damn sure beats mine any day.

Mine was DN2RTH - it's hanging in the garage. I don't have a personal plate on my oldies currently, cuz I like using YoM plates.

Mine says GBLWRMR (globalwarmer). People think because of the sound it must drink the gas like its liquid mana right from Poseidon himself, but really its quite good in gas thanks to the 6 speed manual its paired up with.
Kind of thinking I shouldn't post this, since I know a bunch of people are going to steal that, but.....

(And no thats not my engine in my avatar!!!!!)

The Zipper is registered as 2000 homebuilt. Got a personalized plate with the same number as the 1927 Colorado plate
