Smokey burnout fixes up the rears, then just swap 'em with the fronts and repeat.

  2. My '29 standard coupe in 1969. Rustoleum green, from a rattle can, from a quart can, didn't matter to me as long as it kept down rust and washed off at the quarter-eater car wash. Wheels were sprayed with dark grey primer. It was my first car. I sold it to pay off a loan from my parents to buy my second car, a five-year-old '64 Barracuda. Wish I still had 'em both.

OK, just a little OT, but is it worth the trouble to use Adhesion Promoter when using rattle can spray to paint plastic? I want to paint the Vintage air under dash unit to match my dash, and was told that the A.P. would be the answer to getting the paint to stick for good....any ideas?

Try lacquer thinner with the enamel paint instead of acetone.... Try it on a scrap piece of metal first before doing your car body... ;)

Yes it is. Hopefully it holds up better than zolotone. Went on pretty easy, a few light coats with a ten minute setup time between.
