My 65 F100. I was hauling in a load of scrap with it when I snapped this picture. I have nothing else that is insured. Not too good on gas. I want to get one of my other old clunkers going so I can save a little on gas. I've put about 6000 miles on it since July.

That is my 500 dollar Dodge. Probably not going to happen this winter but I want to turn it into a daily.

I am working on welding this thing up so I can drive it this winter. It has the thrifty 161 flathead six in it. I used to drive it a bit but the clutch is super weak and there isn't much left of the body. The PO was going to cut it up for patch panels. [IMG]

Put a few back road miles on this pig last year. It is a 51 GMC. I rigged up a gravity feed fuel system. Never had brakes. I learned to clutch brake pretty good with it. It was a pretty reliable truck but it could be a pain to start if I forgot to turn off the fuel tank after shutting it off.

I have old car ADD, so this thing really saved my ass to keep me focused. Its a convertable, its a truck, its a wagon, its 4x4 for the winter too. Sips on gas 22+mpg. Chicks dig it too. A little slow on the highway but i cruise with traffic (slow lane up hills ). Not exactly a hot rod, but its fun. 152ci slant 4, 3 speed granny trans, 4.27:1 front and rear posi.

This one brings back a lot of memories. I can still remember going to Reedman in Langhorne Pa. in 1968 when I was a little kid with my folks to buy a Newport just like yours brand new. My Dads was black with a 2 tone white & turquois interior. I still remember trying to talk him into getting a new Corvette instead and him explaining later that we couldn't fit the whole family in a Corvette.

This has been my daily, I have been working on a free VW Jetta for the winter, but until that is going this is going to stay my daily driver.

Jacked up the body 2 years ago and rolled a newer frame under it. Work the dogsnot out of it and need some convenience! Discs and P/S... 20K miles in 2 years, gets 10mpg in town, 12-13 on the highway with a re-ringed smog350 and 4:11 gears. I ain't bitchin' since it's been paid off since before I was born!
