Not all 4 doors bad or not woth anything either. Look around there are a lot of respectable 4 door rides. Some are even worth more than there 2 door counter part.
mine....No smartass comments either! Its American!!!! I have since lettered "Junk in the Trunk" on the Rear left.. black wheels with chrome rings and lugs...Fender skirts.. thinkin about the caddy tail lights....too much?
My '53. I'm not fully finished yet so I haven't any "fully assembled" pics yet. I'm hard at work at the moment to get it done. Hopefully I can have it in a presentable, and safely drivable, state by October.
Oh..ha ha I thought it was some custom wide stainless you found , its hard to tell from the picture..well if it was stainless it would be that much cooler..at least the idea was there.
Here's mine and it's a daily driver and I do love the old girls she's not perfect but still a great driver would like to make it a little less ofr a stocker though
Looking good man. I was wondering how this was coming along not too long ago. Mine isn't as far along. JH
Here's some pics of my '62 StarChief hardtop. 389 three speed auto. ps, pb, Sears air that still blows cold. Plexi wheelcovers that were still in the original box. I got them off a guy who was selling some things and moving to Florida. He picked them up in Michigan at a swap meet about 30 years ago.
I happen to like red wheels and wide whites not on every car or truck but some look pretty neat. I also like green wheels or blue wheels and wide whites on some cars or trucks too.
Here's my 60. Yup it's got a tripower 348. It's turned a best of 10.05 at the strip, in the 1/8th mile though.
some cars i prefer four door, call me strange but i would rather have a four door 49-51' merc' than a two door
Here is my 51 Chevy, bought it when I was 13, traded it off when I was 15, was recently found after 10 years and given back to me by a good friend of mine. Plans are for a full KUSTOM treatment.
Some more I have: 1. 34 Chevy - Recently started a chassis for it. Will be a fenderless hot-rod. 2. 52 Chevy Deluxe - Very solid car to be restored stock but with '56 235 motor. 3. 54 Chevy Bel-Air - To be built as a 50'/60's custom.
my wifes merc... and don't make fun of my rims they were that way when i bought her...and she was hidden away since 1982!! and the always classic pic at the show... I/J
Nuthin wrong with four-doors...the next big thing..mainly because they will be the only un-touched affordable cars left...Hot Rod magazine just had two fourdoors innit, that black 64 Rambler and a 67 Nova..
Here's my Pontiac at the strip. It's an 1/8 mile track and I like hammerin the Pontiac down the strip.
