When ya' get back on track with this, toss the ugly seats . Except for that, that'll make a killer ride .
The seats will be gone. They where laying around so I put them in to take in and out. I have the originals but, they are in rough shape
Here is my 47, I realize it is not a traditional car but it's all mine.Painted by me in a two car garage. ZZ4 small block, nova subframe and 10 bolt rear. I purchased a Bitchin dash and then spent many hours cutting, welding, and reshaping it a bit so that it doesn't look like every other bolt together Bitchin dash. I have had the car for 7 years now, with every winter something gets upgraded or changed in some way.
Hi, this one I bought in L.A. last year and brought it home to sweden. Been in movies like "LA confidential" Well, at least you could see it parked for 10 seconds ! Running with stock 59ab. Plan for next year is to add a dropped 4" magnum at front and a little lowering at the rear. Hank
a very very nice sedan from across here, one of my friends cars.. striping on it is unbelievable. funnily enough the guy who done the striping had never striped a car before, hes never put any paint on a car before...the same guy designed the flames and I think he put the highlights on the flames too...
Here is a shot of mine right after I put the axles under it. Now I am just wrapping up the fabrication of all the body structural supports (rocker panels and body frame supports from firewall to rear wheel). The body is coming off the frame soon for the real fun work to begin. http://www.livingcovenant.com/Car_Fun/47&T.jpg I haven't figured out how to post pics here yet... sorry about that.
Nice Billet wheels on your "47 Ford Tudor - street rod in process" ! You should paint it pastel mint green or pepto bismal pink to match the wheels. I hear thats gonna be the next big thing when rat rods fade out!
Like as in the original stock shade of maize yellow?? My '48 Tudor sedan is supposed to be that color and I'm thinking of going original on the color if yours is the original shade......progress pics of mine to follow soon. -Bigchief.
LOL I survived those color in the eighties - please don't make me live through them AGAIN!!! No, those wheels are NOT gonna be on it. Those are just to roll it around the shop. I'll be going with chrome smoothies. It'll be Porsche Red when it is done - basically stock appearing body with SBC drivetrain. Nothin fancy, just a driver.
I just found a picture I downloaded of somebody else's '46 on my hardrive and photochopped it into the latest image I have in my head for mine.
I have had a 48 club coupe shell and frame for a few years. I started picking up pieces for it this year. Went to look at some parts and bought this 46 sedan a couple of days ago. A thank you goes out to rusty1 for the heads up. Scott
Glad to see this thread come around again. It was good to look through the photos again. I have accomplished a lot on mine since this went around last time. I'll try to post an update photo or two tomorrow. All my photos are on my laptop at the office.
