Its getting closer, plugging away

 

It has a ways to go. Next on the agenda is probably glass. After that floors and rockers. It has to live outside since it’s too big to get through the door of my scooter shed so I figure there’s no point in doing floors until I can keep the water out.

 

My 52 Chevy Ute. Just a 235/T5/56 car rearend, with about 3 inches lowering. Have bigger plans, but this is having fun driving for now.

Flux, your family ride is just Outstanding... That stuff on the side of the engine looks very familiar. You'll have fun with it at car shows, be cause it's Different !! Again it's Excellent, Dyno Dave

 

Thank you Dave ! You helped me ALOT with the triples , on my “stovebolt dream find” thread , it runs great after I spent a few hours adjusting floats lowering fuel psi & mostly the carb restorer replater had covered the idle air bleed with a corvair upper gasket , pulled my remaining hairs out on that one . I tipped the engine about 3/8 & tonight installing the velocity stack filters I ‘m hiding in the old school bottle breathers. Ordered porter mufflers wallago too , flux
