Nope. Just another short weekend jaunt. Lost another 6 weeks of no driving due to knee replacement. Hopefully next summer.

I started out my 240 mile journey to the Jalopy JamUp in Rockton...I left at 4:30am on an empty stomach...20 min into that drive the gut was telling me I have to grab a bite and I did in front of a couple of Vintage icons that are still with us...but had to wait as 5am was opening time...it hit the spot and it was a trouble free Hotrod/Custom fest...

...Little blurry but it was a quaint beautiful Saturday evening at the JamUp in front of the Band Shell, the stellar lineup of bands had wound up and the tunes were filling the air with festive chatter ongoing...The RP pre war Hop-Up is Hamber @wuga's...

I met several Hambers and there was a near family atmosphere about the whole event...I also met @ModelAPunk and didn't realize he was a band member in one of the several that graced the stage...I was busy snapping pics but I sure enjoyed the Tunes filling the air all day...

This event is pretty special as it is a gathering of Hamb Era Enthusiasts

I believe the pics were stored on a site like Photobucket and the users subscription wasn't renewed and the plug was pulled on the image, or they may have been stored on another mass storage site and they went belly up and the images links disappeared...sucks don't it?

If I load them from my desktop or cell phone to my post they don't do that ever...But if you right clic and copy and paste from the web it happens sometimes as well...I usually save the image to my phone or computer and upload the image file from a folder...

 

Yes my image of my Shoebox. But I don't see it, I see a small pic of something with an x over it. Not very old pic, I managed to e mail it from my phone to myself. I have copied the pic from e mail and loaded it to facebook with no issue. Managed to down load and make a Jpeg but I still can't copy/paste without getting the X. I opened email on phone, opened your reply to my post and pic appeared!
