Had this for a while in my C10, but since I really don't play bass, I felt like a poser. I've since taken it out and hung it on the garage wall. I'm still deciding what to do next.

It's not, it's an Ivers Johnson, see the owl on the grip? I've got one of the same design made by US Revolver Co around 1900. They not worth much. Mine's worth even less because it has a cracked chamber in the cylinder but it's been in my family for almost a hundred years so that makes it worth something to me.

Here is the shift knob I will be using on my 32 Hot Rod Lincoln it was removed from a 1936 Lincoln Zephyr rear deck lid. I am debating on repainting the inside of it or leave it original.

    Thanks

Hey, I made one of those out of lead. I wonder where it is?

I was just gonna say that my Friend bought a Jeep from a guy that had a pointy shift knob in it. He'd rolled the Jeep and it and it took out his eye. Ouch.

Partial to vintage billiard balls. I even made a jig to hold them in the drill press without messin' them up. The vintage ones take a thread nicely and they have a good weight to to them.

Murphy's Law would definitely dictate that if you had a knife or sharp object as a shift knob you would be more likely to become impaled in an accident. Not sure I'd be willing to take the risk, but more power to you guys who have the guts to be so carefree...

Hey flat 39, like yur coupe! How difficult was it to make that knob from a necker knob? I see ones I like all the time. FYI, Here in Wi, we call them spinners.
