Not to be a kill-joy....but this picture is disturbing

 

This is our Godson Gavin. It was his first time under the wheel of the coupe. He's going to be a willys boy for sure. He was ready to go drag racing.

 

All these pictures are great! I wanted to add one more.
It's Norm and his son back in the 1950's when he was getting nation wide attention with his car. Norms not doing that well and I thought I would add this to the thread. Then and even today not much changes when it comes to family.

This is my 8yo son Kevin. He loves cars, he told me he is saving his money for a '50 merc





He was afraid of the sawsall until I taught him how to use it. now all he wants to do is cut with it.



A couple weeks ago I showed him how to use the sandblaster. Here we are sandblasting the trans x-member



He is very interested in learnig everything he can about cars.

4 of my 5 grandkids. The youngest one was mad because his go kart was electric and he kept driving off while I was trying to set up the picture....I had to put him back in the line up and take him out of the kart...My wife shot this picture.....

I must be getting old. My youngest is 17 now. He's a hot rodder through and through, but now a lot of his time is spent writing and performing his music (that's him in my avatar pic). His band recently was signed with a major record label, and he will likely be doing a lot of traveling in the near future.

He has a nice, chopped '31 Model A coupe body, Y-block, and a pair of Deuce rails waiting in the wings. Here he is helping me get the '29 tub done so we can start on his coupe.
