    Yes it is Spring behind..With the Shackels mounted on the wishbones and the
    spring in its normal place,,,I do have to cut down the frame horns so they clear the axle tho,,,And the Grill needs to be chopped,...

    This car is still in the same shape..I having "THE MADSTER" Ver 2 Built
    by one of our own STARS!!!

    this one i'm buiding myself into a 40s salt flat car..

    I also am running a spring behind the axle. I had problems with the steering hitting the spring/perches. One mock up picture is my first try. Very scarey to drive. The car darted all over the place, as you hit bumps, the weight of the link bounced up and down, causing the toe to change. My second attempt was dropped steering arms. This worked ok but on very hard bumps the spring pearch would hit the steering link. My final attempt was to use 37' Willys outer tie rod ends. This dropped the steering link enough to clear everything. I will post a pic tomorrow.
