  3. You know you're doing something right when your car is lower than you dog!:D

  4. 'Ol Skool Rodz. The guy was pretty nasty, ragging on gold-chain types with car dusters, and basically said little dogs should be impaled and used in such a fasion. I don't really understand why people are down on little dogs, I don't need a big dog to feel tough, or a loud, fast, obnoxious gas guzzling car...Hey, wait a minuite!

  5. This is a pic of my wife with our two.Guess which one is the most ferocious? I'll give you a hint:it ISN'T the one to her right!

Sadly Duke von Slayer contracted bone cancer several years ago and had to be euthanized. One of the most gentle dogs I have ever had whose only mission in life was to be petted as much as possible and wrestle with our youngest granddaughter(she ALWAYS won) and con us out of as much ice cream as possible.

Muttley is now 14 and aside from being absolutely fearless(the funniest thing in the world was to watch her chase a 100+ lb. Malemute out of our yard and halfway down the street)she loves to catch the elusive,"Mickey D hamburger bun" which she is shown with.

I've posted this before - The second one is really more of the mechanic between the two - here's she's taking a break to pose for a pic while helping me work on the daily.

He's a 3 year old lab/husky. He's not allowed in the garage though, too much crap for him to get into! I read that article on OSR too. I can understand if the show is held in a facility with a no dogs policy but outdoor, parking lot/field/whatever shows shouldn't be a problem as long as the dog is well behaved and the owner is responsible. My dog goes just about everywhere with me so he's been out to quite a few car shows with out any problems.

  15. I had a Boston but he's now with the ex. Great dogs. If I ever get another dog, it'll be a Boston.

Harvey is great with the kids, easy to manage (except he was always underfoot when I was trying to cook dinner), intelligent, and very loyal. When he was yonger he was quite the little tank. The boys would rough house with him and he'd never complain or snap at them. He'd sing along when I played the harmonica too. Aaaaaaarrrrrooooooooooo!

    He's still a pup though - ???

Thanks OldCarMike - just the type of info I was looking for.
Funny you mention the thing where he was under your feet while making dinner - I did read somewhere that they are very "owner - loyal" and don't really like to be left alone - they kinda like to be a "shadow" all the time.

I love my Boston and plan to get a second. It is amazing how good she is with my 4 year old. No matter what uncomfortable position she has been put in she has never shown any aggression at all toward my daughter. Even when playing she knows she can be rough with me, but immediately tones it down when the kid gets in the middle.

    She has unique markings too.

I love my Boston Terrier also! Great Dog. She likes to play with the rabbit, they run together in the back yard. She knew how to fetch from birth, only had to teach her to sit and stay, house-break, go to her pillow when in trouble, and go out when I say, weather she wants to or not. She did chew up a lot of things as a puppy but grew out of that after a few whoppings and just a month ro two of age. I also taught her to lie down in the seat anytime the vehicle is moving and not move at all till it stops (she about caused me to wreck once).

This is "The Mighty" TYSON !, our yellow Lab,
He is my 4 year old shop buddy, and our family pet ( along with my wifes Bishon) he was the runt of the litter and had a open "hot spot" on his neck, the other puppy's would pick on him and he had to fight to eat, when my son brought him home we took him to two diffrent Vets after months and over $700.00 both vets suggested we put him down because his neck would never heal,... just by luck we met a old fasioned farm vet,.. she didn't work on pets but I told her she was Tysons last hope. she treated him, did his surgery, gave us his medication, kept him overnight and gave him a follow up visit for under 100 bucks. today he is healthy as a horse and a lot bigger than any of the dogs that were in that litter.
