Let's See Your T5 Swan Shifters

    I've seen some pretty cool looking swan shifters hooked to T5 trannies in place of the stubby little ugly things. But I never asked anybody how they did it. Did you cut up an old Ford shift lever or make your own? Let's see how you made yours.

    Get a nut the same thread as teh stub on the shifter, weld it to a piece of tubing. Use a second nut as a locker so it doesn't move. Mount your choice of shifter lever. Use some creativity.

    I've done Hurst shift levers to T-5s this way.

    Unfortunatly you can't see where the new handle shifter meets the old stub. We machined a little bigger tube and threaded it to screw onto the old stub then welded a rod to the new machined piece and bent to fit. Gary
